NG Series
The NitroGenerator uses Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology for superior performance and reliability. Many gas generators use membrane filters which demand constant replacement and decrease life expectancy. Our combination of Carbon Molecular Sieve and PSA technology consistently outlasts membrane filters and minimizes maintenance for hassle-free gas generation.
The NG1 (1 Liter/min) is available with an integrated compressor. The rest of the NG Series may be purchased with a dedicated external compressor or use house air with our Tranquil Storm Booster module.
The NitroGenerator Description of Operation
The NitroGenerator utilizes a built-in standby system for reduced wear of internal components and the most efficient use of electricity. Compressed air enters the generator via a 0.01 micron filter [1] that removes contaminants and bulk moisture via an integrated auto drain.
When the control system assesses that more nitrogen is required, the solenoid valves [2] open allowing air to enter the Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) column [4] and a residual moisture catcher [3]. This sieve adsorbs the oxygen and leaves the dry nitrogen free to flow into the reservoir [7] when it is sent to the application via pressure and flow regulators [8].
